PROPHETIC FOCUS FOR JANUARY 2026

 

Open Doors’ greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

 

Again, happy new year to all members of the Winners’ family worldwide and may every one of us be engraced to take full responsibility for the realization of the 2026 Open Doors’ prophetic agenda in Jesus’ name – Rev. 3:7-8 

 

What then is the Holy Ghost saying concerning the month of January 2026? 

 

According to scriptures, we are in the last days, the days of fulfilment of all Biblical prophecies – Act. 3:20-21

 

We discover that prayer and fasting does not only change things, prayer and fasting changes people – Ex. 34:29-30

 

Among the endtime Biblical prophecies is that Jesus will not return until His enemies are made His footstool, as the Church begins to reign in the midst of her enemies – Psa. 110:1-3

 

That is, the day of His power is ordained to precede the day of His coming. which implies that the Church of Christ shall be operating in the realms of undeniable dominion on the earth before Jesus returns – Dan. 7:27/ Rom. 8:19

We are in the last days, that is, the day of His power, and as we are aware that prayer and fasting is a requirement for sustainability of spiritual empowerment – Psa. 63:1-3/ Luk. 5:30-35 / Act. 14:21-23

 

But we discover that prayer and fasting delivers maximally with kingdom advancement as focus – Matt. 6:6 / 9-13 / 17-18 / 33

 

We must engage in the forthcoming 21 days of prayer and fasting amongst others to pray our kingdom advancement dream for the year into reality.

 

As it is written, you asked and did not receive because you asked amidst to consume it on your own lust – Jam. 4:1-3

 

We saw how Israel fasted for 70 years in Babylon without effect because they were only fasting unto self – Zech. 7:5 “Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?”

 

The kingdom advancement content of our personal prayer time during the forthcoming prayer and fasting season must be a major factor and using our various church prayer bulletin will be much useful in this regard.

 

As we seek for the advancement of the kingdom of Christ, we shall commit Him to continue to add to us all things that others are dying to get – Psa. 34:10 / Matt. 6:33

 

Other benefits of prayer and fasting as unveiled in Isa. 58:6-14 include:

  • Destruction of yokes, including spells and enchantments, deadly habits etc. – Isa. 58:6/ Isa. 10:25-27/ Isa. 45:1-3
  • Stirs outbreak of revelation – Isa. 58:8/10/ 2 Cor. 4:4/ Isa. 60:1-22
  • Facilitates express answers to prayers – Isa. 58:9/ Mat. 6:5-7/16-18
  • Enhances health and vitality – Isa. 58:8/ Pro 4:20-23

We should all expect undeniable change of levels in our spiritual stance as the outcome of these 21 days of prayer and fasting this year in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

 

Therefore, the prophetic focus for the month of January 2026 is: PRAYER AND FASTING EMPOWERS FOR DOMINION – Isa. 58:6-14
